. How To and What They Do

Becoming a member on staff is much harder than picking out a rank within the pack to start out. There is indeed a form to fill out, but not always will you be seen as the perfect person for the job.

If you do end up applying, keep that in mind. You might not be picked. Other people will apply, so we can't go taking in everyone that wants to be an administrator. We'll accept those that are actually fit for the job.

Administrators; Take care of everything. You'll handle disputes between members, move dead topics, post news topics in the header, update links, read biographies, make announcements, and just. Everything. You're expected to be active, and not to neglect these duties. The trust of the whole site is put into your hands, because now you're capable of changing and editing anything. New members who request this position (if not known already by a current administrator) will be denied.

Topic Moderator; Reading and accepting biographies, as well as moving inactive topics or profiles to their respective areas is your job. Close topics, sticky or lock a post, delete, edit, or correct mistakes. You should be good with grammar, a strong reader, and an active member. This is a good job for those who don't want quite as much responsibility as an admin, but would still like to help. Again, new members won't quite be trusted as much as a long-time member who applies.

Why Do You Want to Moderate Topics?: Why Are You the Right Person?:

Graphic Designer; You'll help out with images, of course. Banners, emoticons, and just...images. Images, images, images. You won't need to be as active as the positions above, because your services will only be needed when members are in need of graphic assistance, when the site undergoes a skin change, or if special circumstances arise. You may be asked to create awards for members, for sites, or for characters; so be prepared if someone asks (politely) for service.
