-► The Hand That Made Us ◄-
In the beginning, the Universe was made when the great wolf Youka opened his paws. His eyes became the yellow Sun, and the silver Moon, and his fur pricked the sky with holes. He spread his arms wide, embracing the Earth with love and warmth. From his heart spread Wolf, a creature of purity and innocence. But at once Youka felt resentment, envy, and hate, for this creature he made was most unlike himself. Though it took after his appearance, Youka faced troubles in his life, and so, he made two Wolves, and gave them Sin. Sin was Youka's troubles; sloth, gluttony, greed, envy (avarice), vanity, lust, and wrath. However, Youka did not know that this pair would bring more power and horror to the Earth than he himself could have ever wished. These Wolves, he called them 'Dire', and did everything his his power to control their ambitious, aggressive ways. One pack, from each Youka's four paws, was created; unknow to the Dires. It was hidden away out of sight, in a world that could not contain hate or Sin. This pack was called Ambamba, a pack of wolves similar - but still so different - from the Dires. These Wolves Youka called Timbers, because of their slender, lithe bodies. However, though Youka made this new world, he could not guide it. So, he broke himself into fourths, and made three sisters. A goddess named Souet, who is Goddess of the Moon, is the supremacy and power for Ambamba. Her two sisters Sunrise and Sunset are the watchful eyes of the Sun, battling each other at Dawn and Dusk to keep their precious jewel awake. Two great birds, Thunderbids, followed Souet from her Heavenly throne by Youka. She came to live among her Wolves, to teach them, and to raise them, before returning to her home with the stars. Teller and Seer remained on Earth, as Souet's eyes and ears.
